Online Degree Programs
Doctoral Programs
USC offers a variety of doctoral programs in a variety of fields. You can study on campus or online, and there are many options. For example, the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work offers a range of doctoral degrees, including:
- Doctorate in Social Work (DSW)
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
You can learn more about these programs by visiting their website at https://www.uscmsw.com/.
Graduate Certificates
Suppose you are interested in pursuing a graduate certificate. In that case, the USC Online Programs offers a variety of programs that can help you build your skills and add value to your resume. A graduate certificate is an academic credential demonstrating mastery of specialized knowledge in a particular field, such as business administration or management information systems.
Graduate certificates are typically completed within one year and generally require between three and five courses (or 6-10 credit hours). They can help students gain entry into competitive fields like healthcare management or cybersecurity by providing additional credentials on their resumes before applying for jobs at companies like Amazon or Microsoft.
Master’s Degrees
Master’s degrees are usually two years but can be longer depending on the school and program. They’re also more advanced than bachelor’s degrees, so they serve as a stepping stone to doctoral programs or higher-level jobs. Master’s programs prepare you for research and teaching careers in business administration, public policy and international relations.
Master’s degrees may be offered through either a traditional classroom setting or an online format that allows students to work at their own pace while interacting with professors and classmates via email or web-based group discussions, among other things.

Non-Credit Certificates
A non-credit certificate is an educational credential that can be earned by completing courses and demonstrating mastery of the subject matter. Certificates are offered in various disciplines and are not required for admission to a degree program.
Certificates may be completed on-campus or online, depending on the program requirements. For more information about earning your non-credit certificate at USC, please get in touch with us at 714-824-1520 or email [email protected].
