High Schools Summer Programs

USC is known for its academic excellence and research prowess. The school has produced some of the nation’s top minds, including Nobel Prize winners and Pulitzer Prize winners. USC’s Summer Session provides an opportunity to learn more about university life while boosting your GPA and earning transferrable college credit.

High school students can take advantage of the learning opportunities offered at the University of Southern California Summer Session.

Summer Session is an excellent way for high school students to get ahead. The summer session allows students who need to make up credits or want to get ahead on their degree to do so.

Students can take classes that are not offered in their local school district during the regular semester, which helps them achieve their academic goals faster. The courses are taught by USC faculty members who have been teaching at the university level for many years, and they will be able to offer advice on how best to prepare yourself academically for college life after high school graduation.

Transferable college credit is available through USC’s summer session and may be used toward a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Transferring to another university?

You can take USC classes and receive credit for them at other universities. This is called transferable college credit, suitable for up to 10 years. If you’re planning on transferring from one school to another after graduating from high school, consider taking USC courses during your summer break!

USC High Schools Summer Programs are designed to offer students a head start on their future. Whether you’re looking to prepare for college or a career, our programs provide an opportunity for students to develop skills that will help them succeed in life.

Some of our summer programs offer transferable academic credit, while others provide college-level courses with academic credit only (no transferability). In addition, some programs offer both options!
