Graduation Help Desk

The Graduation Help Desk is a resource for students seeking help with their degree. The desk is located in the Student Services Building and offers assistance with degree planning and graduation requirements.

University Leadership Network

The University Leadership Network is a professional development program providing students leadership training. The program is designed to prepare students for the role of leader on their campus and in their community. The University Leadership Network is open to all students at UT Austin, regardless of major or year in school.

 

Texas Advising Excellence

The Texas Advising Excellence (TAE) program is a statewide initiative to improve student success in higher education. TAE provides training and resources for faculty, staff, and advisors to help them meet the needs of students.

The mission of UT Austin’s Student Success Center is to support our students as they pursue their academic careers by providing them with quality advising services that allow them to achieve their goals while contributing positively to campus life. We are committed to helping all students thrive academically while they prepare themselves for success after graduation through holistic educational experiences that include research opportunities; co-curricular activities such as internships and study abroad programs; involvement with student organizations; leadership development opportunities through service learning projects or undergraduate research assistantships; community engagement activities related directly back into their neighbourhoods through organizations like Austin Community College Foundation (ACCF).

UT for Me is a new program that provides personalized information about UT Austin to prospective students and their families.

Check the status of financial aid awards, including whether you qualify for state or federal aid programs such as Pell Grants or the Texas Grant (TEG). These funds can be used at any public university in Texas.* Learn more about our undergraduate majors, minors and certificates offered through distance learning.* Learn about career services available on campus and tips on preparing yourself academically before applying so that you’re ready once admitted!

We do this by providing various resources that help students navigate the challenges they may face at UT Austin. We also offer support through our Counseling Center and other campus offices.
