It comprises all full-time faculty members and meets twice a month to discuss matters related to academic policy. The academic senate approves new degree programs and sets standards for student admissions, graduation requirements, and faculty evaluation procedures.<\/p><p>The USC Faculty Committee consists of three faculty members appointed by each department chairperson with the approval from their dean or vice president (for new departments). The committee meets regularly with representatives from SACUBO (Student Activities Center Building Operations) responsible for facility maintenance issues such as repairs or upgrades that may impact classroom space availability during scheduled events in our classrooms\/labs\/auditoriums on campus.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-5938e519\" data-id=\"5938e519\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-192b55f7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"192b55f7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Academic Program and Curriculum<\/h5>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fae6ae5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2fae6ae5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Academic Senate, a committee of faculty members, is responsible for overseeing curriculum and academic programs. The Academic Program and Curriculum Committee (APCC) reviews all proposed changes to existing courses, degree programs, and minors. It also develops new methods and majors.<\/p><p>The APCC is chaired by the dean of graduate studies or designee, who serves as secretary to the APCC. Learning<\/h5>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-17a1735d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"17a1735d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Technology in Learning program is a collaborative effort between faculty, students and the university to promote and support the use of technology in teaching, learning and research. The program helps faculty integrate technology into their courses through workshops on various technologies such as video production or social media tools; it also provides access to equipment such as cameras or microphones for use during class time.<\/p><p>The Technology in Learning Committee works with other campus groups like the Office of Distance Education &amp; eLearning (ODEEL) and student organizations like Student Media Productions (SMP) to provide opportunities for students who want to get involved with creating digital content related to their courses or research projects.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-79b410a3\" data-id=\"79b410a3\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13acb268 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"13acb268\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Arts, Sports & Events<\/h5>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-212f0861 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"212f0861\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Arts, Sports &amp; Events Committee organizes and coordinates events for the campus and community.
