College of Medicine
College of Medicine is the largest College at Ohio State University. It has an enrolment of over 2,000 students and is home to the wexner Medical Center, which provides medical care for Ohioans from across the state.
The College offers undergraduate programs like neuroscience, biochemistry & molecular biology, genetics & genomics, public health, physician assistant studies, health service administration, and physical therapy (DPT). Students with an interest in biomedical research can pursue graduate degrees such as M.D./PhD or MD/MPH through these departments: Biomedical Engineering; Anatomy & Cell Biology; Molecular Genetics; Physiology & behavioral Neuroscience.
College of Nursing
The College of Nursing is the largest nursing school in the nation. The College offers a variety of degree programs, including a doctorate in nursing practice and master’s degrees in educational leadership, health care systems management, informatics and data analytics, adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner/family nurse practitioner, adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner/family nurse practitioner and pediatric acute care nurse practitioner/family nurse practitioner.
The College is committed to research, with over $6 million annually invested in faculty research projects. It also continues its involvement with community service through its partnerships with local hospitals such as Mount Carmel Health System; Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center; Nationwide Children’s Hospital; The James Cancer Hospital & Solve Research Institute at Ohio State University (OSU) Arthur G Hamlin Research Institute–Center for Breast Cancer Research & Treatment Program; Mound view Healthcare System – Cardiac Rehabilitation Program; American Red Cross Blood Services Region XII Central Ohio Chapter Regional Distribution Center Columbus Area Warehouse Operations Facility.
College of Dentistry
The College of Dentistry is one of the country’s largest and most prestigious dental schools. It has an annual enrolment of over 1,000 students. The average GPA for applicants to this program is 3.5 on a 4-point scale, while the average MCAT score is 31 (the national average).
The University requires that you have at least 90 credits before applying for admission into their programs; however, they recommend at least 120 credits before applying to ensure you meet all requirements and deadlines without any issues.
College of Public Health
You’ve probably heard much about Ohio State’s College of Public Health. It’s a top-ranked public health school, offering programs in various disciplines–from environmental engineering to social work.
The College of Public Health is an interdisciplinary unit that brings faculty from across campus to tackle issues such as food security, climate change, ageing populations and mental health care delivery systems. Our students get training from experts in their field while also learning how those fields relate to each other–and how they can collaborate across disciplines to solve problems more effectively than ever before.
College of Optometry
The College of Optometry is the oldest and largest school in the United States. It is located on the west side of campus, near Morrill Hall and other science buildings. The College is home to over 700 students enrolled in a four-year program leading to a doctorate in optometry (O.D.).
The first class was admitted to this College in 1889; since then, it has graduated over 2200 doctors who have gone on to practice all over Ohio and beyond
The Graduate School
Graduate school is a place for graduate students to earn a master’s or doctoral degree. The Graduate School offers a wide range of business, education, engineering, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences programs. All Ohio State University students are eligible to apply for admission into any graduate program offered by The Graduate School except those requiring specific prerequisites or additional coursework before access.
Moritz College of Law
The Moritz College of Law is the oldest and largest of Ohio State’s law schools. It was established in 1887 and has been named in honour of former Ohio Governor and U.S. Senator George W. Moritz (1827-1901).
The Moritz College of Law offers a traditional three-year curriculum and a two-year accelerated program for students who meet specific criteria. Students enrolled in either program have access to over 600 courses taught by more than 50 full-time faculty members, including several nationally recognized experts in their fields, such as constitutional law, criminal justice policy, health law & bioethics and intellectual property law.
College of agriculture and life sciences
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is a research-intensive university that offers more than 40 bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees and doctoral degrees. The College offers programs in agricultural business; agricultural communications; agricultural education; agronomy; animal sciences; biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology; biology (including animal biology); biotechnology (including molecular biosciences); botany (plant sciences); community health nutrition sciences; entomology; human development & family studies (human nutrition); plant pathology & plant genetics (fruit crops). Many minors are also available for students, including a horticulture science minor or a viticulture/oenology/brewing science minor.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic division at Ohio State, with 15 departments and more than 100 undergraduate majors, minors and specializations. The College also offers more than 60 graduate programs.
The departments in this division include: Art; Music; Speech, Language & Hearing Sciences; English; Foreign Languages & Literatures (including Germanic Studies); History; Philosophy; Linguistics; Modern Languages & Cultures (including Asian Studies); Mathematics & Statistics; Physics & Astronomy.

College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CFANS)
The College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CFANS) is a top-ranked college of food, agricultural and environmental sciences. CFANS offers more than 200 undergraduate and graduate degree programs that prepare students for careers in agriculture; food science; natural resources, human nutrition; veterinary medicine; dentistry; nursing; pharmacy and other health professions. It also houses one of the largest colleges at Ohio State University with more than 1,500 faculty members conducting research on some of today’s most pressing issues such as climate change or cyber security threats to our nation’s food supply chain as well as developing new tools for farmers who need access to accurate weather forecasts so they can make informed decisions about planting seasons without wasting money on crops that may not grow due to bad weather conditions during critical growth stages.

School of Music and Dance (SMD)
College of Nursing
The College of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, a four-year program that prepares students for careers as professional nurses. Students can also pursue an accelerated BSN program that takes two years to complete.
The College of Nursing provides an array of courses, including:
- Advanced Practice Nursing
- Biostatistics in Health Care Research and Evaluation
- Clinical Nurse Leader Program
In addition to these classes, students can take electives such as “Evidence-Based Practice” or “Health Policy.”
College of Public Health
The College of Public Health is the only one in Ohio. It was founded in 1965 and has grown to include several departments, including:
- The Center for Public Health Practice (CPHP) trains students to be leaders in public health practice.
- The Center for Health and Wellness (CHAW) focuses on improving community wellness through education and advocacy.
