Campus Tours

NYU is a world-class university with over 20 schools and colleges in New York City’s heart. Our campus is home to more than 50,000 students from all over the globe—each with its unique story. Whether you’re interested in studying abroad or looking for a program that will help you stand out from other applicants, NYU offers every student a wide range of opportunities.

Undergraduate Admissions Tours

Tours are accessible and offered year-round, Monday to Friday. Tours are led by campus tour guides, current students, and alums who have volunteered to share their experiences at NYU with prospective students. Tour groups are limited in size to ensure a comfortable experience for all participants. An NYU student will lead groups of 10 or fewer; groups of 11-20 will be led by an NYU alumna/us (the “alumna/i” refers to both men and women); groups larger than 20 may be split into smaller subgroups with different guides if necessary.* Tours last approximately 2 hours

Graduate Student Admissions Tours

Graduate student admissions tours are available for prospective students applying to NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Tours include a variety of campus buildings and spaces, including the library, student centre, and classrooms. Tours are led by admissions staff who can answer questions about the application process or help guide you through your research on our website or social media pages (Twitter: @nyutandon; Facebook: engineering). Tours can be scheduled by emailing admissions@nyu.edu

Additional Tour Options

In addition to the regular campus tours, you can also visit NYU for other events and activities. Open houses and auditions for musical theatre and dance companies are available throughout the year. You can also see a performance at one of our many theatres or attend a lecture by one of our faculty members. If you’re interested in shopping at all-you-can-eat dining halls, take advantage of our seven dining halls across Manhattan and Brooklyn! There are plenty of options for everyone’s dietary needs–from gluten-free options to vegan meals prepared daily by professional chefs–so there will always be something delicious waiting for you when hunger strikes!

These are the main campus tour options, but you can also explore other NYU programs.

To learn more about the specific programs, visit the NYU Office of Undergraduate Admissions website. If you’d like to explore other options, check out our list of transfer credit policies and contact us with any questions!
