What does it take to get a job with us?
The first step to getting a job with us is to fill out an application. We’ll look over your resume, cover letter and any other relevant materials you’ve included. If you’re a good fit for the position and have the skills needed, we’ll happily offer you an interview.
After this point, things get more complicated: we’ll ask why you want to work at NYU and what motivates your decision-making process in general (this helps us understand if our values align). We also like talking about how people learn best–what environments do they thrive in? What kind of feedback do they need most often? How do they approach challenges? And finally: Do they have any questions for us? This last part is crucial because it shows that applicants are interested in learning more about our organisation and demonstrates their thoughtful nature and interest level in working here!
