Admissions

To apply to the NYU School of Professional Studies, you must submit the following:

  • An online application. This can be completed at the school’s website, nyu.edu/prospectivestudents/apply.html
  • Your resume or CV (curriculum vitae). You can upload this as part of your application or send it as an attachment after submitting it.

Financial aid

Financial aid is available for students who demonstrate financial need. Financial aid is awarded based on academic performance, test scores and other factors such as work experience and community service. Financial assistance can be through scholarships, grants, loans or work-study positions.

Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1st to be considered eligible for federal student loans. Students may apply online at www.fafsa.gov or contact NYU’s Office of Student Financial Services.

Students whose parents earn more than $125,000 per year are not eligible for federal grants; however, state grants and private funding options may be available if they attend an out-of-university institution such as NYU School of Professional Studies, where tuition costs less than $20k per year!
