New York

January Admissions

The NYU 2023 application

Applications are due on January 6. Applicants must be 18 or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Applicants who still need to meet these requirements may apply if the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has granted them an exception.

Applicants should submit their electronic application online at http://applynyu.org/admissions/how-to-apply/. The University will require official transcripts from all colleges attended; please include any transcripts outside of English as part of your application materials so that our office can translate them for us if necessary.

Applicants may begin submitting their applications on November 1.

The NYU School of Professional Studies online offers degrees in various fields, including business and management. The 2023-2024 admissions cycle for the Master’s Degree Program in Business Administration will begin on November 1, and close on January 31. Applicants may begin submitting their applications on November 1.

Applicants should know they can complete all parts of the application in one sitting or over several days–it’s up to you! You don’t have to wait until everything is ready before submitting; go ahead and send us what you have done so far by clicking “Submit” at any time during this process (after clicking “Continue” below).

Applications are due by January 6

Applicants may begin submitting their applications on November 1, at midnight ET. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on January 6.

Early Decision I and II applicants must submit their applications by December 15.

Early Decision I and II applicants must submit their applications by December 15. Please be aware that you can only apply to Early Decision I if you have been admitted to NYU or another Ivy League school. If you are attending an undergraduate institution outside of the United States, please note that we can only evaluate your application after admission decisions have been made at all other schools where you applied (and even then, we may not be able to). Therefore, we strongly encourage applicants in this category to consider using Regular Decision or EDII instead!

Early Decision II is for students who want to be explicitly admitted into the Stern School of Business (Stern) and have been interested in business since high school; however, this program does not require any particular coursework or standardized test scores above those required by our normal admission process. The choice between EDIIs/EDIIIs is yours–if accepted through either pathway, we will offer financial aid packages based on need as well as merit scholarships based on GPA and test scores earned before enrolling at NYU
