The tables below display the estimated cost of attendance for undergraduate and graduate students during an academic year, including fall and spring semesters.These figures are not a bill; they are only estimates. You will be billed for Tuition and fees once each semester, at which time you will also receive information about your actual charges. The IUPUI Registrar’s Office posts updated international tuition rates on its web page annually in August or September before the start of the fall semester.”

The estimated cost of attendance for an academic year (fall and spring semesters) is $32,500. This includes:

  • Tuition and fees – $20,460
  • Living expenses – $10,000 (for a single student) or $15,000 (for married students)
  • Miscellaneous expenses – $1,200 (includes books and supplies, transportation costs, personal expenses).

Financial Aid: The school offers a variety of forms of financial aid, including Scholarships – $5,000 annually (renewable), Federal loans – $2,500-$10,500 annually (depending on need and approval status).

*Estimates of Expenses for a Single Person: The costs listed above are estimates of expenses for a single person. They do not include expenses such as health insurance, car insurance, or transportation costs. Your pay may vary depending on where you live and your living arrangements.

For example, if you live off-campus or with a roommate and share expenses, your living expenses will be less than those listed above. If you drive to campus daily instead of taking public transportation or riding a bike, your transportation costs will be higher.

International students can use this information to prepare for their education costs.​

IUPUI’s international Tuition and fees are $34,400 for the 2018-19 academic year. This includes:

  • Tuition of $30,300 for all undergraduate programs (approximately $1,200 per credit hour)
  • General fee of $2,100 per semester (or $4,200 annually)
  • Student service fee of $1,000 per semester (or $2,000 annually)

Additional fees include a student health insurance fee of $1,200 per year for full-time students not covered by another plan. Aetna Student Health administers the student health insurance plan and provides access to medical services at all Aetna-approved providers. Professional liability insurance of $260 per year for clinical psychology doctoral students.
