It includes recording transactions, preparing financial statements (such as balance sheets), and analyzing data to help management make better business decisions.<\/li><li>Management accounting \u2013 Management accountants analyze internal costs and performance using cost accounting techniques to identify ways companies can improve profitability and efficiency through increased sales volume or decreased production costs.
