One of its most valuable items is a Shakespeare First Folio (1623), which can be viewed on display at the Harold Washington Library Center.<\/p><p>The University Archives holds records dating back to 1869 and documents events including student activism during World War II, anti-war protests at UIC during the Vietnam War era, as well as other special collections such as oral histories with former presidents John J. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and accessible to all visitors that day! The MCA has many exhibits throughout the year, including special exhibits that change every few months. There are also some permanent collections you can explore if you want to learn more about art history or look at beautiful pieces of work by famous artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh.<\/p><p>The caf\u00e9\/gift shop inside is located right off Michigan Avenue, so if you need something quick to eat before heading back home or going out again later in the evening, this place will do just fine \u2014 they have sandwiches made fresh daily along with pastries like cookies and muffins baked daily too!<\/p><p>You should check it out!<\/p><p>The University of Illinois Chicago Library is an excellent place to study and get work done. It\u2019s open to the public so that anyone can go there, but it also has a great collection of books and manuscripts not available elsewhere. In addition, if you\u2019re looking for something specific that might be in the Library\u2019s collection (like a particular book), they have an online catalogue where you can search their holdings by title or author name. If you don\u2019t find what you\u2019re looking for on your first try, try again! Multiple copies may be floating around somewhere else in the building\u2026or even outside its walls!<\/p><p>The Library also hosts many student groups who meet regularly at tables set up around campus\u2013so if something piques your interest (such as Dungeons &amp; Dragons night), give those folks a wave the next time they see each other! And finally, don\u2019t forget about our art museum!
