Step 1: Register for the Online Application
To apply for admission, you must create an account on My UIC. Once you’ve done that, follow these steps:
- Go to https://my.uic.edu/login/index.aspx?returnurl=%2findex%2ehtml&redirectUrl=https%3a//myuiuc%2ecom/admission/online_applications/register%3fReturnUrl%3dhttp%253a//www1%252euiuc%252ecom/admission/online_applications/.
- Click on “Apply for Admission.”
- Select Undergraduate Studies as your program of interest and click Continue (or New Student). Note: If this is not your first time applying, you may be asked if it is a new or updated application; select Update Application instead of New Application if applicable. If you need help determining which one applies, consult an advisor before proceeding further into the process!
Step 2: Complete the Application
Once you have completed the application, you can submit it. To do this, click “Submit” at the bottom of your screen.
You will then be prompted to review your application one last time before submitting it for review. Ensure all information is correct and complete (including your name, address and phone number). If there are any errors or missing data in your application, please get in touch with us immediately so we can make corrections before we submit it for review.
Step 3: Upload Documents and Letters of Recommendation
Once you have completed the application, you must upload your academic documents. This includes:
- Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (in PDF format). If you are currently enrolled in a college or university, please wait until after your grades have been posted before applying.
- Letters of recommendation from two professors or supervisors who know you professionally (in PDF format).
Step 4. Read and Accept the Terms & Conditions
The final step of the admissions process is to read and accept the terms and conditions. If you are not a UIC student or alum, please read and accept the international student terms and conditions. If you are a UIC student or alum, please read and accept the domestic student terms and conditions.
