If you’re interested in Columbia University’s Combined Plan program, this guide is for you. It will walk you through the steps of applying to the program and let you know what it takes to be eligible. Then we’ll dive into how to apply for the combined program so that you can get started on your journey!

The Combined Plan is a unique opportunity that allows students to earn both a bachelor's and master's degree by taking three years of courses

This program is only offered at Columbia University, so you can be sure it will not be replicated elsewhere. You’ll complete the combined program in as little as five years, depending on your undergraduate GPA and how many credits you have earned at the university level (if any). The combined plan includes two semesters each year: one for coursework and one for research or internships. If you choose this option, please note that there is no need for training during the summer months because all students must participate in research projects during those periods anyway!
