Health Science Library

The University of Arizona, Health Sciences Library is a premier academic medical library that supports students, faculty and staff at the College of Medicine. It was established in 1995 as an integral part of the new College of Medicine, which was created by merging three previously independent health science schools: Medical, Nursing, and Pharmacy.

The Health Sciences Library is located on the second floor of the University Medical Center’s Building 7A (UMC). The UMC includes several other facilities such as clinical laboratories, operating rooms, outpatient services, and more than 1 million square feet for research activities across all three U of A Health Science Center Tucson campus colleges.

Fine Arts Library

The Fine Arts Library is located in the College of Fine Arts building, also home to the School of Music, Theatre, Dance and Art. The library has a collection of over 50,000 books and journals with an extensive collection of art history reference books. It has over 7,000 DVDs available for checkout.

The Fine Arts Library offers several resources for students, including:

  • access to online databases such as Pro Quest Dissertations & Theses Global Archive (PQDTGA) and JSTOR
  • group study rooms where you can work on group projects with other students or study alone in quiet surroundings

University Library Special connection

The University Library is an excellent resource for students and faculty.

  • Libraries are great places to study and research.
  • Many libraries offer group study rooms, which can be used by students who want to work together on projects or papers.
  • Libraries also have computers with internet access, printers, scanners and other resources that students may need while they research or work on their assignments at the library.

Science Engineering Library

  • Library collection: The Science Engineering Library contains over 100,000 items, including books and journals.
  • Seating capacity: 300 seats are available for students to study in the library.
  • Study rooms: Three study rooms are located on the first floor of SEL. Each room has a seating capacity of eight people, so you can easily reserve one for yourself or your group if you need some quiet time away from classrooms or other busy areas on campus! You may also use these rooms as meeting spaces if needed–ask at the information desk!
  • Quiet Room: This space is excellent for those who want a break from noise but want to wait to take off-campus trips (or ever). The quiet room has couches where you can sit down with friends or family members while quietly enjoying snacks like chips & candy bars without needing permission slips first (because nobody likes writing those things). It’s also mounted televisions on walls so that anyone looking up “How do I get outta here?” might find answers within reach instead of having only Google search results at their disposal…unless someone else has already taken them all beforehand.”

Centre for creative photography

The Center for Creative Photography is one of the largest university libraries and houses over 300,000 books, journals and other media. It has a collection of over 100,000 photographic images that span from the early days of photography to modern-day works by contemporary artists. The Center also maintains an extensive archive of films dating back to 1895, including silent movies, documentaries, experimental films, and Hollywood classics.

Law Library

The Law Library is the largest of all the libraries. It is located on the university’s main campus and has an extensive collection of books and journals on the law. The library also has a reading room, study rooms, and a computer lab.

The library is divided into the following divisions: Law Library (general collection) Law Library Microform Collection

Law Library Government Documents and Law Library Periodicals.
