University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) is Arizona’s first and only public, fully online university. Founded in 2010, we are a unit within the University of Arizona College of Education and Human Development whose mission is to provide high-quality and accessible education options to students who might otherwise be unable to obtain a degree. We offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in the following fields:
History
The University of Arizona Global Campus is a partnership between the University of Arizona and the Education Corporation of America (ECA), founded in 2013. It’s one of the first public online universities in the country, providing more than 50 undergraduate and graduate degrees through an extensive selection of online programs.
The UAGC offers all its classes on a semester system, so students can complete their coursework faster than at traditional universities–and without having to leave home! Some programs even allow you to earn your degree online without stepping on campus.
Online Degrees
UAGC offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in various subjects, including business administration, criminal justice, education and nursing. The university is also a member of the American Council on Education (ACE) and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). UAGC has been recognized as one of the best online colleges by several organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, College Choice and Forbes Magazine.

In addition to its online programs offered through its Global Campus platform at UniversityofArizonaOnlineCollege.com, the University of Arizona offers more than 100 undergraduate on-campus majors at its four campuses across Arizona: Tucson; Phoenix; Oro Valley/ Northwest Tucson area; Nogales/ South Tucson area; South Central Tucson area; Yuma County Campus near Somerton Correctional Complex south-east from Yuma city limits along I-8 highway towards Gila Bend Road exit number 42A (exit 42B coming from westbound lanes only).
Student Experience
The University of Arizona Global Campus offers students a variety of online degree programs, from associate’s to master’s degrees. You can choose from various subjects, including business administration, criminal justice and psychology. If you’re looking for something specific, UAGC has it!
For example, you want to study business administration with an emphasis on finance or marketing. In that case, this is possible through the school’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Finance or Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Marketing programs. Or maybe, instead, your interests lie more with criminal justice? We have the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies program, which can help guide your career toward becoming an officer or detective within law enforcement agencies such as FBI agents or DEA agents, just by completing 12 courses over two years (8 semesters).
Leadership
The University of Arizona Global Campus is a public university and the first and only public, fully online university in Arizona. It is also a member of the University of Arizona system. As part of this system, UAGC is also part of the University’s Academic Health Center (AHC).
The AHC includes three other health-related schools: College Of Medicine – Phoenix; College Of Medicine – Tucson; Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Training Program And Research Foundation For Women In Healthcare Administration At The Pennsylvania State University Schuylkill Campus; College Of Nursing At The Pennsylvania State University Schuylkill Campus And Indiana University School Of Medicine Consortium On Reduction Of Tobacco Use Among Minority Youth In Central Indiana.
