Academic Calendar

The academic calendar is the official list of classes and other educational activities at the university. The calendar can be used to plan your schedule and check when your next class will be held and other important dates, such as holidays or campus closure.

The university website has an Academic Calendar page with detailed information about upcoming events, including registration or enrolment deadlines, course enrolment, holiday closures, final exam schedules, commencement ceremonies (when applicable), etcetera.

Libraries

The University of Arizona Libraries is a network of libraries, archives and museums that serves the university community’s research, teaching and learning needs. The UA Library System includes six academic libraries: Main, Health Sciences Library (HSL), Law Library; Special Collections; Information Technology Services (ITS); Special Collections in Hayden Library; Archives & Public Records; Museum of Natural History-University of Arizona Archives and Records Center.

The UA Library System is also home to the State Archives of Arizona, which houses records from state agencies and other institutions. The Arizona History & Government Archives at the University of Arizona Libraries holds over 1.5 million items relating to the history of Arizona and its people, including collections from local governments, Native American tribes, businesses and individuals.

Academic catalog

The University of Arizona’s academic catalogue is a comprehensive guide to all things literary. It contains information about degree requirements, course descriptions and prerequisites, student services, tuition and fees, and much more.

The catalogue can be viewed online or downloaded as a PDF file (.pdf). If you plan on printing out some pages from the record for easy reference later in your studies at UA (or if you want something to do with those extra printer cartridges), we recommend downloading the entire thing instead of printing out individual pages. You can also search for specific topics within the catalogue using our search tool on this page!

Think Tank

Student Academic Policies

The University of Arizona’s student academic policies are designed to provide students with the best possible learning experience. They also help students succeed by encouraging them to make good choices, such as attending class regularly and submitting assignments on time.

The following are some examples of UA student academic policies:

Global Engagement

The global Engagement program at the University of Arizona helps students with their international experience. It provides resources, support and guidance for those who want to study abroad or participate in an international exchange program. This organization aims for students to learn about their host culture and connect with people from other countries. Students can also learn about what it’s like living in another country by going on trips organized by Global Engagement staff members or other organizations on campus, such as the International Student Union (ISU).

Think Tank is where students can get help with their homework, projects, exams, papers and research. Think Tank offers many services, including learning strategies to help students learn more effectively.

In addition to these services, Think Tank has tutors available for individualized assistance in any subject area or skill level, from elementary school to college-level courses.
